Burning Heart Websites is a website design and
hosting company that adheres to Christian principles, is based in the
Scriptures, and recognizes our responsibility to glorify God by using the
abilities he has given us. We've
been doing website design since 1995, back when the Internet was largely
unknown. Formerly a part of Legacy Computers, Inc, we have moved on in an effort
to devote our skills and talents to the Lord. Where Did Our Name Come From? Our origin is interesting, and quite unique. Back in 1995, our founder Damon Thomas created an online organization called the Burning Heart. This organization was setup so that Christians who enjoyed playing games could meet other Christians and play together. The inspiration for the Burning Heart was originally based on the song "Children of the Burning Heart", written and performed by Steven Curtis Chapman, which itself was based on Luke 24:32. This organization took off, and at one time was quite reputable in the online gaming community and it is with this organization that our web design skills were groomed. The original Burning Heart has since faded, yet since that was our training grounds, we felt the name should be revived in our efforts to continue serving the Lord through our business. |
